MBCOM – Persib Bandung akan menggelar acara bertajuk “Pesta Biru” yang akan dilaksanakan pada hari Sabtu, 02 Agustus 2025 di Stadion Gelora Bandung Lautan Api, Kota Bandung. Acara ini merupakan launching tim, jersey baru dan perkenalan sponsor untuk mengarungi musim 2025\/2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tidak hanya acara itu saja, Persib rupanya akan berujicoba dengan lawan tangguh dari Australia, Western Sydney Wanderers FC. Klub tersebut merupakan klub papan atas Liga Australia dan pernah menjuarai Liga Champions Asia 2014. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deputy CEO PT Persib Bandung Bermartabat, Aditya Putra Herawan menjelaskan, pemilihan Western Sydney Wanderers FC atas dasar pertimbangan strategis. Menurutnya, \u00a0klub yang bermarkas di Sydney ini merupakan lawan yang cocok untuk menguji kesiapan Persib berkompetisi, terutama di tingkat Asia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Western Sydney Wanderers FC bukan hanya klub papan atas di Australia, tetapi juga pernah menjadi juara Liga Champions Asia. Karena itu, kita tidak ragu untuk memilihnya sebagai lawan pada launching game PERSIB tahun ini,” kata Aditya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Western Sydney Wanderers FC menjuarai A-League, kompetisi sepakbola kasta tertinggi di Australia pada tahun 2014, di musim yang sama mereka juga menjadi kampiun di Liga Champions Asia. Musim lalu yakni 2024\/2025 Western Sydney Wanderers FC finish di posisi 4 klasemen akhir A-League.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Salah satu pemain Western Sydney Wanderers FC, \u00a0Brandon Borrello diketahui merupakan penyerang Timnas Australia yang membawa Negeri Kangguru melaju ke Piala Dunia 2026. Ia pun sempat bentrok dengan Timnas Indonesia pada putaran ketiga Kualifiaksi Piala Dunia 2026 Zona Asia pada 20 Maret 2025 dan berhasil menaklukan timnas Indonesia 5-1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
