MBCOM – Persib Bandung dalam rentang dua tahun terakhir mendominasi Liga Indonesia dengan menjuarai dua edisi Liga 1 sekaligus secara beruntun, yakni pada musim 2023\/2024 dan 2024\/2025. Hal itulah yang menjadi salah satu faktor gelandang Timnas Indonesia, Thom Haye memilih Persib.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Selain itu, Haye juga mengatakan, Persib yang musim ini berambisi tampil lebih baik di kompetisi Asia juga menjadi pertimbangan selanjutnya untuknya menjatuhkan pilihan ke Maung Bandung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Itu merupakan salah satu alasan saya mengambil keputusan bergabung. Di dua musim terakhir tentu saja tahta juara milik Persib. Dan Persib juga memiliki ambisi besar untuk lebih baik lagi di kompetisi Asia,” ujar Haye, dikutip dari laman resmi Persib.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Atas dasar tersebut lah Haye merasa termovitasi untuk membantu Persib dalam mempertahankan gelar juara kompetisi domestik sekaligus mencetak hattrick juara serta mendorong tim untuk tampil maksimal pada gelaran AFC Champions League Two sebagai wakil Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Haye menyadari target tersebut merupakan sebuah target tinggi, maka dari itu ia bertekad untuk mempercepat masa adaptasinya dalam tim dan segera menyatu dengan pemain yang telah bergabung lebih dulu. Namun Haye mengatakan, ia akan melakukannya secara bertahap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Jadi, kami harus bersama sebagai satu tim. Mempersiapkan semua dengan sebaik-baiknya. Tahap demi tahap kita harus lebih baik,” katanya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sebelumnya seperti diketahui, Thom Haye resmi dipekernalkan ke publik sebagi rekrutan anyar Persib melalui siaran TVRI Jawa Barat pada 27 Agustus 2025 yang lalu, ia dikenalkan bersamaan dengan penyerang asal Italia, Feredico Barba.****<\/p>\n
